Tiếng Nước Tôi is a free PDF textbook and workbook series for children in Vietnamese communities abroad. It runs from kindergarten through grade 9, making it useful for heritage-language families that want a school-style sequence.
Early levels teach letters, sounds, tone marks, spelling, dictation, vocabulary, and short readings. Later books add sentence building, grammar, composition, literature, culture, and Vietnamese history.
Lessons are arranged by grade with separate Sách Học and Bài Tập PDFs, plus weekday practice sheets for many levels. Activities include matching, writing, reading questions, memorization, and teacher-led dictation.
It is less suitable for independent adult study. Instructions are mainly in Vietnamese, and many tasks ask a teacher or parent to read or guide the child. Some upper-level readings also reflect the Catholic Vietnamese diaspora setting and its historical perspective.
