Learn Vietnamese Language by LuvLingua is a mobile app for beginners and early intermediate learners who want structured practice on their phone, especially if you prefer Northern (Hanoi) pronunciation and want something that works offline.

It’s organized into lots of short lessons and practice games. You learn core words and phrases, then review them with quizzes like listening, picture, writing, and multiple choice. There’s also a phrasebook with common categories (greetings, directions, time, travel, shopping, emergencies), plus an alphabet section and a grammar and sentence-building area.

The free version includes plenty to try, and you can pay to unlock the full set of lessons and features. Where it falls short is real conversation practice. There’s no teacher or speaking partner, and feedback is mostly self-check, so you may want to pair it with a tutor or conversation resource.
