Vietnamese by Nemo is a vocabulary and phrase practice app for people who want to start speaking useful Vietnamese quickly, especially beginners and travelers. Instead, you work through common words and everyday phrases in short study sessions, so it fits well if you like app-based practice you can dip into for a few minutes at a time.

You can also switch practice modes to focus on recognition, recall, listening, or pronunciation. Audio is downloaded for offline use, which makes it handy for commuting or travel.

The app is strongest as a phrasebook and flashcard tool, not as a complete Vietnamese program. The free version covers core essentials, while extra topic packs are paid. On Google Play, Nemo says the Vietnamese audio is in the southern dialect, though the translations are meant to help with either northern or southern Vietnamese. If you want structured grammar, conversation feedback, or deeper intermediate study, you will probably need to pair this with another resource.
