VietnamesePod101 is a mobile app for self-paced Vietnamese study. It works best for beginners and lower-intermediate learners who want guided audio and video lessons instead of open-ended practice. If you like learning through short dialogues, explanations in English, and repeatable listening, this is a straightforward place to start.

Inside the app, you get access to lesson pathways, transcripts, lesson notes, vocabulary lists, quizzes, and spaced repetition flashcards. Higher paid tiers add line-by-line audio, a personal word bank, and more study tools. Premium PLUS also includes 1-on-1 access to a teacher for corrections and assignments, which gives the app more structure than a typical lesson library.
