Memrise is a mobile app for learners who want practical Vietnamese vocabulary and low-pressure speaking practice. It suits beginners and returning learners who prefer short sessions built around everyday situations rather than long explanations.
You learn useful words and phrases, then review them on a spaced schedule. Native-speaker video clips add real voices and listening context, while quizzes, sentence-building activities, and pronunciation practice keep you actively responding. AI conversation tools let you rehearse role-plays with a microphone before trying the language with another person.
The free tier lets you start, but access to vocabulary lessons, videos, and conversations is limited, with full access behind Pro. Memrise works best as a regular vocabulary and listening supplement.
