Forvo is a free pronunciation reference for learners who want to check how a Vietnamese word or phrase sounds. It works best as a quick companion to a course, dictionary, or flashcard deck rather than as your main study program.
Search a term and you can play recordings submitted by native speakers, often with several voices to compare. Each clip shows the contributor's country and gender, plus community votes. A free account lets you save favorites, request missing pronunciations, contribute recordings, and download MP3 files.
The Vietnamese section also includes topic vocabulary and travel phrase guides with translations and audio. A separate eLearning area offers daily vocabulary review. Coverage is uneven, so common items may have many recordings while less common words have one or none.
