Vietnamese Conversation

Vietnamese Conversation is a Blogspot site for learners who want Southern Vietnamese, especially Saigon-style pronunciation. It works well if you like learning from short posts and YouTube-based audio you can replay and shadow.

Lessons are grouped into beginner levels plus topics like pronunciation, conversations, vocabulary, and “Learn Vietnamese Through News.” Many posts give a dialogue or short text with English glosses, key vocab, and embedded videos, so you can read first and then practice listening and repeating on the website.

It is strongest for accent notes and practical phrases, and it gives you lots of material to mine for vocab and reading practice. The tradeoff is that the learning path is not tightly structured, and the blog’s newest posts are from May 1, 2022, so you will mostly be working through an existing archive. Some content is free while some lessons and scripts are sold via PayPal on the Paid lessons section.
