Vietnamese Conversation
A Southern Vietnamese blog with bilingual lessons, 45 beginner units, dialogues, grammar notes, vocabulary, stories, and videos.
Tiếng Việt Thực Hành is a free blog library for children in Vietnamese families abroad, plus the parents and teachers helping them. It teaches Vietnamese as a second language and is aimed mainly at heritage learners.
The core collection has printable textbooks from preschool and kindergarten through grade 7. Lessons progress from letters, tones, spelling, and pronunciation to reading, vocabulary, grammar, and sentence work. The books include repeated drills, writing tasks, reviews, and tests.
There are also four conversational Vietnamese books, more than 165 children’s stories, folktales, student writing, biographies, and general knowledge readings. The mix works well for home lessons and community language schools.
Most material is text and worksheet based, with little guided listening or feedback. Younger learners will usually need an adult to choose and explain lessons. Adults seeking an independent course may find it school-like. A recent reader identified a few small errors in one workbook.
