Your Vietnamese
Free Vietnamese learning blog with short grammar lessons, practical how to say posts, and simple tools for typing and number practice.
More Vietnamese is a free blog and resource hub for people teaching themselves Vietnamese. It is aimed at beginners and lower intermediate learners who want help getting started, choosing materials, and building a better study routine. If you feel lost picking resources, the site is most useful as a guide rather than as a full standalone program.
The strongest part is its curated resource list, which sorts Vietnamese learning materials by level and often notes the skill focus and accent. The blog also has practical articles on tones, pronunciation, listening, speaking, and common learner questions. It explicitly discusses both Northern and Southern Vietnamese, which is helpful if you are still deciding which accent to focus on.
What it does less well is structured practice. You are mostly reading advice and following links out to other tools, videos, and lessons, so you will still need other resources for drills, conversation, and steady progression. Some curated links have been around for years, although the site itself is still maintained and several pages were updated in late 2025.
