Vietnamese for Everybody is a very small beginner podcast for learners who want a quick introduction to Southern Vietnamese sounds. You can find it on Apple Podcasts and its older Podomatic page. It suits complete beginners who want to hear vowels, consonants, tone marks, and basic number reading before moving on to a fuller course.

The podcast has only six episodes, and the lessons are short and focused. The early episodes walk you through vowels, consonants, and accent marks, then later lessons move into cardinal and ordinal numbers. The teaching style is straightforward audio drilling. You listen, repeat, and do simple dictation-style exercises. That makes it useful if you want ear training and pronunciation practice without much setup.

The tradeoff is that it is very limited. You are not getting conversations, grammar explanations in depth, transcripts, or a broader curriculum. Since the episode dates are from 2011, this is better treated as a small practice set than a podcast you will follow over time. If you need a few free lessons to get used to Southern pronunciation and number patterns, it can still be helpful.
