Glossika is a web app for learners who want to build Vietnamese through lots of listening and repetition rather than long grammar lessons. For Vietnamese, it offers separate Northern and Southern courses, so it is one of the few apps that lets you choose the dialect you want to hear. You can start from zero or take a placement test, which makes it usable for beginners as long as you are comfortable learning through patterns and repetition.
Glossika uses full sentences, not isolated words. You listen to native recordings, repeat them, and review them with spaced repetition so older material keeps coming back at the right time. Glossika says its Vietnamese courses use thousands of words and sentences across A1 to C1 levels, and it includes listening-only study, recording, typing, dictation, and offline downloads. You can see the Vietnamese course pages and plan details on Glossika's site.
What it does well is give you a lot of native audio and push you to speak out loud every day. That can be especially useful if you want more exposure to sentence patterns and pronunciation. The tradeoff is that the practice can feel repetitive, and it is not the best choice if you want detailed grammar teaching, cultural notes, or real conversation with a teacher. It also sits on the expensive side for an app subscription, so it makes the most sense if you know you will actually use it consistently.
