SVFF Podcast is a Southern Vietnamese learning podcast from the Learn Vietnamese With SVFF team. It is a good fit if you want guided audio lessons rather than just casual listening, especially if you are learning for family, travel, or everyday conversation in southern Vietnam. Complete beginners can start with the easier levels, and the lessons are explained in both Vietnamese and English.

The paid podcast app is more like a small audio course than a regular podcast feed. Lessons are grouped by level, and each one includes a full lesson audio, dialogue audio, vocabulary review, a PDF script with English translation and explanations, and quizzes. SVFF says it adds new lessons weekly, and free sample lessons are available before you subscribe.

What makes it useful is the clear Southern focus. That is still hard to find compared with Northern-focused materials, and SVFF also offers 1-on-1 tutoring if you want teacher feedback after studying on your own. The tradeoff is that this is still mainly a listening resource. You can shadow and repeat aloud, but real conversation practice comes from their tutoring, not from the podcast itself. If you want structured Southern input with transcripts, it is a solid option.
