Sunita at the Zoo

Sunita at the Zoo is a bilingual English Vietnamese paperback picture book from Mantra Lingua. It is aimed at young children, especially ages 3 to 6, and it works well if you want a very gentle first reader to share at home or in class. The story follows Sunita and her class on a trip to the zoo, so the content is easy to follow even if your Vietnamese is still very limited.

What you get is a short, simple story with pictures and side by side bilingual text. That makes it useful for early reading practice, animal vocabulary, and basic school and outing language. Mantra Lingua also lists the book as PENpal enabled, so families or schools that already use the PENpal device can add audio support. If you do not have that device, the book still works as a normal paperback.

This is most useful as a beginner friendly reader, not as a full course. You can read it together, point to pictures, and repeat words in context. The main limitation is that it is very short and clearly made for children, so older learners or adults will outgrow it quickly.
