Mondly is a mobile and web language learning app that includes a Vietnamese course. It is best for beginners who want short, guided lessons and lots of quick practice, rather than long explanations.

Lessons are organized by practical topics and mix listening, reading, and simple sentence building. A big part of the experience is repeating phrases out loud and getting instant pronunciation feedback through voice recognition, plus short scripted chatbot conversations for speaking drills. You also get daily lessons and quizzes to keep a routine.

Where it can fall short is depth. The approach is more learn by doing than detailed grammar teaching, so you may want a separate grammar resource once you move past the basics. It also does not clearly teach a specific Vietnamese dialect, so do not rely on it alone if you need Northern or Southern pronunciation targets.
