Parrot Parrot is an iPhone app for building flashcards from text you choose. Vietnamese is one of 30 supported languages, so it suits learners who find useful phrases online and want to study them without creating cards by hand.
Paste or type a sentence and the app produces a natural translation, a contextual word-by-word breakdown, and flashcards. Its Read, Write, and Ask modes add practice beyond simple card review. Search, duplicate combining, progress tracking, and vocabulary management help keep your personal word bank organized.
The free tier includes 50 Gemini AI translations. Supported iPhones can also use Apple Intelligence or downloaded Apple language packs. Pro adds a higher Gemini allowance, better translations, and smarter cards. The bring-your-own-text approach is useful for real material, but there is no Vietnamese curriculum, published CEFR path, or stated dialect focus. No native-audio feature is documented, and there is no Android or web version.
