Parrot Parrot is an iPhone app for learners who want to learn Vietnamese vocabulary from real text they find online. You paste in a sentence or paragraph and it helps you understand it and save the useful parts for review.

You choose your language pair, then type or paste Vietnamese to get a natural translation plus a word-by-word breakdown so you can see how each word is being used in context. It can generate flashcards automatically from that breakdown, which is handy if you like learning from what you actually read instead of pre-made lists.

It also includes modes labeled Read, Write, and Ask, plus tools to search your saved items, combine duplicates, and run focused flashcard review sessions with progress tracking. The free version includes a limited number of higher-quality Gemini AI translations, while the Pro subscription unlocks much higher usage.
