Vietnamese in 40 Minutes is a compact Collins audio phrasebook for complete beginners who want a few useful expressions before a trip. The unabridged recording runs about 44 minutes, so it suits a quick first exposure rather than a full Vietnamese course.
You learn by listening and repeating short phrases. Topics include essential words, asking for things, numbers, cafés, shops, food, quantities, tickets, directions, days of the week, common problems and talking about yourself. This makes the material practical when your goal is basic travel communication.
