50 Languages
100 Audio Dialogues
50 Languages is a web course and mobile app built around 100 beginner level lessons for Vietnamese. It is best for self study learners who want practical sentences for travel and daily life, and who like learning by listening and repeating.
Each lesson is themed around real situations like introductions, restaurants, directions, shopping, and the doctor. You get short dialogues, line by line translations, and native speaker audio. On the website you can also download MP3 packs, which makes it easy to practice offline or while commuting.
What it does well is give you a lot of ready to use phrases fast, with consistent audio and clear, bite sized lessons. What it does not do much of is explain grammar or help you create your own sentences beyond the patterns you memorize, so you will likely want to pair it with a grammar focused course once you move past the basics.
You can start from the Vietnamese course pages on the 50 Languages website, and use the Android app or iOS app if you prefer learning on your phone.
