Description

Unite for Literacy is a free browser library made for children from birth to about age eight and other emerging readers. It can also give beginner Vietnamese learners low-pressure listening and vocabulary practice through very short, image-supported books.

The site has 600+ original picture books, mostly nonfiction, on family, community life, STEM, feelings, art, play, and humor. Pages use photos or clear pictures with only a word or a few sentences. You choose a book, turn the pages, and tap the audio button to hear narration recorded by first-language speakers.

Vietnamese is available as a narration language. The main written-language menu includes English, Spanish, and Ukrainian, while Vietnamese words can be revealed separately on adapted books. This means Vietnamese reading support is not consistent across the whole library.

No account or payment is needed, and books include simple follow-up activity ideas. It is useful for shared reading and basic input, but it is not a Vietnamese course. You do not get grammar lessons, a level path, conversation practice, or corrective feedback.
