Tandem is a mobile app for language exchange, not a lesson-based course. The app is strongest for speaking and listening. You can search for partners by language and interests, then use built-in tools like message correction, translation, saved expressions, and group audio rooms called Language Parties. Tandem also offers a paid Pro plan with extra filters, more language settings, unlimited translations, audio transcription, and an AI Toolkit with grammar help and message support.
