PolyChat is a self-study app for Vietnamese learners who want a guided course plus plenty of short practice. It publishes an A1-C2 path with lessons covering vocabulary, grammar, reading, listening, pronunciation, and speaking. It is available on iOS and Android, with web access too.
You work through a lesson map, then reinforce material with timed vocabulary games, phrase matching, conjugation drills, speaking challenges, and spaced review. An AI tutor supports chat, role-play, and video-call practice, while a built-in translator gives examples and alternative translations. You can also generate custom lessons around your own topics.
The free tier includes unlimited lessons, so you can practice regularly without an energy system. Conversation is with AI rather than a human tutor.
