Phrasebook Tiếng Việt for Beginners is a free, self-paced website for newcomers who want practical Vietnamese sentences rather than a full grammar course. Its 100 lessons cover everyday themes such as introductions, food, transport, shopping, hotels, work, health, and basic sentence patterns.
Each lesson pairs English prompts with Vietnamese text and audio recorded by native speakers. You can play individual lines, move through the lessons in order, hide some or all letters for recall practice, or download bilingual and Vietnamese-only MP3 sets.
