Description

This is the official YouTube channel of Báo Điện tử Tiếng nói Việt Nam, VOV's online newspaper. It is made for Vietnamese news viewers rather than language students, but it gives you a steady supply of authentic listening material.

The channel posts throughout the day and has an archive of more than 39,000 videos. Topics include Vietnamese and international politics, society, economics, law, sports, and major events. The feed mixes sub-minute clips with reports, interviews, analysis, and news bulletins lasting around 15 to 25 minutes.

You get native Vietnamese reporting and formal current-affairs vocabulary in context. However, there are no lessons, graded series, exercises, or learner explanations. The pace and dense news language may be difficult for newer learners, and the formal broadcast style offers less exposure to everyday conversation. As an official state news source, it is best used alongside other media perspectives.
