Vietlingo is a Vietnamese learning website built around one big choice that many apps ignore: dialect. You can study Southern, Northern, or Central Vietnamese, then book live lessons with a native teacher who speaks that variety. That makes it a practical pick for beginners, heritage learners, expats, and travelers who want the Vietnamese they will actually hear in real life.

The main focus is speaking and listening. On Vietlingo's site, lessons follow CEFR-style levels from A0 to C1, and the paid tutoring packages include 50-minute 1-on-1 classes, lesson recordings, progress tracking, and AI-generated flashcards. There is also an AI tutor for pronunciation, conversation practice, tone training, vocabulary review, and grammar feedback between lessons.

If you want teacher support, this is where Vietlingo looks strongest. The pricing page shows paid lesson packages, plus a free 30-minute trial. That said, the AI features are positioned as part of those lesson packages, so this is not the best fit if you only want a fully free self-study tool. It also puts much more emphasis on speaking practice than on reading-focused materials. Public user feedback is still fairly limited, so it is easier to verify the official feature set than long-term learner results.
