EchoMeo Vietnamese is a free, browser-based vocabulary trainer for self-studying Vietnamese learners who want structured practice without ads or a required signup to start. It focuses on building word and phrase knowledge through short sessions.

You work through gamified lessons that mix several quiz types, including flashcards, multiple choice, listening, word assembly, and sentence building. It also tracks progress with XP, levels, streaks, and daily goals to help you stay consistent.

Audio is a big part of the experience, with options for Northern, Central, and Southern accents. There is also a Syllable Grid tool to help you understand which Vietnamese sound and tone combinations are valid, plus an AI chat feature for practice and feedback, and an AI dictionary tool for explanations and example sentences.

Where it falls short is that it is primarily a vocab and drills product, not a full Vietnamese course with deep grammar instruction or real human conversation practice.
