Website for VietSpeech

VietSpeech is a free set of printable Vietnamese-English learning materials from Charles Sturt University. It is mainly for Vietnamese-speaking families raising children abroad, especially parents who want practical ways to support speaking and pronunciation at home. If you are an adult learner studying on your own, it can still be useful, but it is clearly built with children and caregivers in mind.

The main resources are the SuperSpeech Cards, the Multilingual Children book, and the Superhero Workbook. You get printable picture cards for everyday vocabulary, plus activities on Vietnamese tones, speech sounds, home language use, and family routines that encourage kids to keep using Vietnamese.

What it does well is make home practice feel concrete. The materials are bilingual, printable, and based on a university research project, so they give you more structure than random worksheets online. The downside is that this is not a full Vietnamese course. There is no lesson path, no audio-based conversation practice, and not much for intermediate or advanced learners. You can browse the full collection on the official VietSpeech page.
