Bisko

Bisko is a YouTube channel built around travel vlogs in Vietnam. The creator hitchhikes, busks with a guitar, stays in small towns, and chats with people he meets along the way. For Vietnamese learners, it works best if you already know some basics and want more exposure to casual, real-world speech rather than lessons.

What you get is unscripted contact with everyday Vietnamese in markets, roadside stops, homes, and rural areas. That makes the channel useful for listening practice and picking up common words, reactions, and social language in context. It also gives you a feel for hospitality, travel culture, and daily life outside textbook examples.

The tradeoff is that this is not a teaching channel. There are no structured lessons, grammar breakdowns, or beginner-friendly progression. Videos can be hard to follow if your listening level is still low, and the focus stays on the travel story first. If you want natural input and culture, it is a good fit. If you want clear explanations or study materials, you will need something else alongside it.
