That makes it useful for relaxed listening, especially if you want to hear the same family and school vocabulary come up again and again. Topics are concrete and easy to follow, like meals, playtime, shopping, weather, and outings.

What it does well is give you lots of understandable listening without asking you to study grammar first. The voices are clear, the plots are predictable, and the visuals make it easier to guess meaning.
