Vietramese

Southern Zoom Cohorts

Vietramese (vieTRAMese) runs live, small-group Vietnamese classes on Zoom for adults who want a structured path and lots of speaking practice, with a Southern (Saigon-style) focus. If you have Vietnamese family or friends and want to sound more natural, this is aimed at you.

Group classes run as 7-week cohorts and are capped at 6 students, so you get called on and don’t hide in the back. Lessons are hosted and recorded on Zoom, and materials are shared through Google Classroom and Quizlet. If you miss a session, you can watch the recording or join another class that week to make it up. Current schedules and enrollment are on their class page, and updates also show up on Instagram.

It’s beginner-friendly (Level 1 starts with tones and the alphabet) and the later levels add everyday topics plus grammar and sentence structure. The main limitation is that group classes require a consistent weekly commitment and are 18+ only. If you want 1-on-1 or lessons for teens and kids, they also offer private lessons by email.
