HowToVietnamese is an online self-study hub for learners who want a Southern (Saigon-style) accent, especially if you are starting from zero and want a clear path into pronunciation and basic sentence building.

On the free side, you get structured mini-courses like the pronunciation guide that walks through the alphabet, vowels, consonants, and tones, including a lesson on Southern vs Northern tones. There are also short beginner courses for basics, phrases, and numbers listed on the Learning page.

The paid materials are mostly downloadable packs. The grammar eBooks (Book 1 and 2) focus on sentence patterns with lots of examples and come with audio downloads, while the Story Listening Practice includes transcripts, English translations, key vocabulary, and slow plus normal-speed audio.

It is strong for guided pronunciation practice and practical, bite-sized study. The main limitation is that it is mostly input and self-practice, so you will need another resource for live conversation and feedback.
