The Voice Of Vietnam (VOV World)

Website for The Voice Of Vietnam (VOV World)

VOV World’s “Dạy tiếng Việt” is a free archive of radio-style Vietnamese lessons from Vietnam’s Voice of Vietnam (VOV5). It’s best for learners who already know basic Vietnamese and want more structured listening practice across levels.

Lessons are posted as individual pages with an audio clip and a title like “Trình độ A2/B1/B2/C1/C2”, often split into “Tiết” parts. Topics range from everyday themes to culture and society, so you can pick a level and listen in small chunks. Start from the main index on VOV World.

What it does well is give you lots of real Vietnamese audio in manageable pieces, without sign-ups or paywalls. Where it falls short is that it’s mainly an audio archive, not an interactive course. There are no built-in quizzes, spaced repetition, or speaking feedback, and the lesson series is older, so don’t expect frequent new updates.
