VMonkey

Interactive Vietnamese Readers

Edit this resource

VMonkey is a Vietnamese learning app made for kindergarten and primary school kids. It’s mainly for families who want children to build strong Vietnamese reading skills, especially spelling and early literacy, rather than adult learners aiming for conversation.

The core of the app is a big library of interactive comics and stories plus audiobooks, organized by level and kid-friendly themes. As kids read, they can tap to interact, follow along with narrated audio, and build vocabulary through repeated exposure in context.

It also includes structured spelling and rhyme lessons (đánh vần) and reading-comprehension questions after stories, which makes it feel more like a guided course than a simple story app. You can see the product overview on Monkey’s VMonkey page.

What it does not try to be is a speaking or real conversation program. It’s best as a literacy and listening routine for kids, and less useful if you want adult-focused explanations, grammar study, or everyday speaking practice.
