Website for Vietnamese English French Dictionary (VDict)

VDict is a free web dictionary for looking up Vietnamese, English, and French words. It is best for learners who want quick definitions and translations without installing anything.

The main draw is the multi-dictionary search. You can search one word and see results across Vietnamese-English, English-Vietnamese, Vietnamese-French, French-Vietnamese, plus Vietnamese-Vietnamese and an English-English WordNet source on the same site. It also supports wildcard searching and suggests similar words when you misspell something.

If you need more than single-word lookup, VDict also includes a simple text translation tool on their Translation page that handles short passages up to 500 characters and can auto-detect English vs Vietnamese. There is also a browse page for scanning word lists by first letter.

What it does not give you is a structured learning path, lessons, or speaking practice. Also, some entries include long “friendly” explanations that are useful for quick understanding, but can feel inconsistent in depth compared with a traditional learner dictionary.
