Vanvn.vn
This is the “Truyện ngắn” (short stories) archive on Vanvn.vn, the official website of Hội Nhà văn Việt Nam (Vietnam Writers Association). It’s best if you already have some Vietnamese and want real literary texts to read, not lessons.
You get a feed of newly published short stories by many Vietnamese authors, with post dates and brief excerpts so you can pick what interests you. New items are added frequently, so it works well as a steady source of fresh reading material.
What it does not give you is learner support: no leveled difficulty, no vocabulary lists, no grammar notes, and usually no audio. Expect dense prose and cultural references. If you’re around intermediate level, it’s still useful if you read selectively, copy passages into your notes, and look up key words rather than translating every line.
