Sunita at the Zoo

Sunita at the Zoo is a bilingual English Vietnamese picture book for young children, roughly ages 3 to 6. It follows Sunita and her class on a school trip where they see common zoo animals, with short, simple sentences suited to early readers and families reading together.

You can buy it as a physical paperback from Mantra Lingua. It is part of the Sunita series (along with Sunita Makes Friends and Sunita's Special Day), so it works well if you want a small set of consistent, kid-friendly stories.

A big plus is that every edition is PENpal enabled, meaning it can play recorded audio when used with Mantra Lingua's PENpal talking pen. That can add listening practice, but it is not included automatically. You need the PENpal device and you may need to load audio files using a Windows PC or Mac. As a learning resource, it is great for basic vocabulary and reading confidence, but it does not teach grammar or provide structured lessons for older learners.
